N-oleoyl glycine - Stearylamine salt was developed and mass-produced by Sinopec for military oil needs. It is mainly used in military storage oil, rust-proof oil for the machinery industry, or rust-proof lubricating oil, and is widely welcomed in precision machinery, tank manufacturing, ammunition depots, steel rolling mills, internal combustion engine factories, bearing factories, chain factories, watch factories, lock factories, scissors factories, and industrial product warehouses. It can also be applied in solvent-based rust-proof paints. Product characteristics and properties: 1. At room temperature, it appears as a yellow-gray waxy solid. When heated, it melts into an amber-colored oily liquid. 2. Insoluble in water, soluble in oil. 3. Non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, and non-explosive. Brief introduction to corrosion inhibition performance; Adding 2% stearylamine salt to No. 5 high-speed mechanical oil, a thin layer coated on the surface of No. 45 steel sheet, will not rust in a humid heat box at 49 degrees with relative humidity greater than 95% for 10 days (0-1 level). In contrast, if No. 5 high-speed mechanical oil does not add stearylamine salt, the steel sheet will show many rust spots or stains in less than an hour in the same humid heat box environment. It can be seen that the corrosion inhibition effect of this product is very significant, and the corrosion inhibition time can be extended at least 300 times. Special products can achieve no rust for 27 days, and the corrosion inhibition time can be extended over 600 times. This product is easy to use; just heat it to above 70°C and add 1-3% to the mechanical oil (Note: the addition amount in 10# mechanical oil is 2%). When it cools down, seeing a misty appearance is normal and does not affect the corrosion inhibition effect: if a small amount of surfactant is added, the mist can be avoided.
